Please understand that online and phone consultations are for educational purposes only and are not a replacement for in-person care with a licensed physician. By scheduling a consultation you agree that are not entering into a doctor-patient relationship, nor should the information provided be viewed as a diagnosis or treatment for any condition. When scheduling an online consultation, you will be prompted to provide your Skype or Google account name. You will receive an email 24-48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment with detailed instructions on how to connect with Dr. Amanda or Dr. Kate via your chosen platform. Please remember that Skype is not a HIPAA supported platform. 

All clients are required to work with a primary care physician locally, and your child’s pediatrician and/or medical team should always be regarded as a primary source of information about diagnosis, treatment, prescription drugs, and medical conditions. Delaying medical evaluation or treatment could be detrimental to your child’s health and wellbeing. 

Any information discussed via PediaChat, LLC should first be reviewed by your child's medical team and implemented only if deemed safe and appropriate.

Online consultations can involve electronic communication of you or your child’s personal and/or medical information to a consultant who may be located in another state or country. We take precautions to ensure your privacy, and utilize HIPAA-compliant technology. However, please understand that whenever information is shared online there is a slight risk of compromised security. We will alert you if we become aware of any security breech. Please also note that recording of sessions is strictly prohibited. 


Cancellation Policy

All payment is collected at the time of scheduling. After making your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email with a link that you can use to cancel or reschedule your appointment at your convenience. A reminder email is sent 48 hours prior to your visit. You will have up to 24 hours prior to your appointment to cancel or reschedule your appointment, after which, refunds will not be available.
